Taken on the same day as "Red Day: Mom and Fawn in the Willows" This is one of my favorite shots I have ever taken mostly because it was one of those occasions where everything went right. Wildlife don't often take direction but in this case when I muttered under my breath "turn your head" she did! This is the same mother deer from the other shot and she was looking at her fawn just outside the frame. It was a beautiful spring day near Kelly warm springs in Grand Teton National Park
