I found this wolf track near Pacific Creek and Two Ocean Lake in northern Grand Teton National Park. It is one of the largest I have ever seen. It was probably left by a member of the Pacific creek pack. I made the plaster cast of the track in April 2007. This is a clay impression of the plaster track. This track includes a built in notch for wall hanging, but also looks great on a desk or table.
The Pacific Creek pack, now about four years old roams mostly northern Grand Teton and the Teton Wilderness area. currently in 2008 the Pacific Creek pack has 13 wolves, 4 are pups from this year. They seem to be doing very well aside from some mange problems. It is always a pleasure to see sign of them.
